Sanitizing & deodorizingWhole-system duct and dryer vent check with before-and-after photos - you see exactly what came out of your vents
That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.
Meet the Fort Lauderdale Team Behind Hollis Air Duct Fort Lauderdale
The crew that shows up at your door in Fort Lauderdale is the same crew that preps the trucks at 7 a.m. We don’t subcontract. We don’t send a different face every visit. Roy Castellanos has built this team around one idea: a house with clean ducts is a house where the AC doesn’t fight itself in August. Every technician runs Rotobrush and Nikro equipment, every job gets a written price first, and every team member lives by the 365-Day Done Right Promise. Some have been with Roy for a decade. One just made his first solo run through Victoria Park.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Roy Castellanos, Owner
Roy started cleaning ducts in Fort Lauderdale back in 2004, which means he’s pulled old fiberglass out of houses in Rio Vista, tackled post-hurricane mold in Plantation, and learned every weird quirk of ductwork in 1950s Coral Ridge ranches. He still rides along on tough jobs and does final walkthroughs when a customer has questions. Roy is the reason every Hollis location runs under The Garrison Standard: arrive inside the window, put the price in writing, do the work by the book, leave the site clean. If something fails, he’s the one who makes sure the second visit happens at no charge. He answers the phone like a person, not a script.
Danilo M., Lead Technician
Danilo has been with Hollis for nine years and runs the negative-air setups on larger homes in Las Olas and Harbor Beach. He’s the technician who can tell you exactly why your return plenum is pulling dust from the attic, then fix it with duct sealing mastic that actually holds. Before Hollis, he worked commercial kitchen exhaust systems, so he’s seen what happens when airflow gets ignored for years. Danilo carries a notepad with before-and-after pressure readings on every job, and he explains what each number means without making you feel like you’re in a physics lecture.
Marisol V., Senior Installer
Marisol handles the dryer vent side of the business, which in Fort Lauderdale means dealing with a lot of lint-packed vertical runs that vent through tile roofs. She’s been with the team for six years and specializes in rerouting undersized or crushed dryer duct in older condos near Galt Ocean Mile. Marisol is blunt in the best way: she’ll tell you if your dryer vent is a fire risk, then show you the photos on her tablet before she touches anything. She also runs the duct sealing jobs where old flex duct has separated at the seams in attics that hit 120 degrees by noon.
Terrence J., Service Coordinator
Terrence is the voice on the phone when you call (754) 354-3644. He’s been with Hollis for four years, and he knows the schedule, the neighborhoods, and which tech fits which job. If you live in a high-rise on Las Olas that requires COI paperwork before a truck parks, Terrence handles it. If you need confirmation on the written price before the tech arrives, he repeats it back to you in plain numbers. Terrence worked property management before this, so he understands exactly how frustrating it is when a vendor gives an estimate and the invoice comes in higher. That doesn’t happen here.
Luis P., Apprentice Technician
Luis joined two years ago after working residential HVAC filter changes and learning how much junk actually accumulates past the return grille. He’s shadowing Danilo on full-system cleanings and working toward his lead role on smaller single-family jobs in Victoria Park and Sailboat Bend. Luis is the one who double-checks every register is sealed back properly after the rotary brush pass. He’s not the fastest on a ladder yet, but he’s the one who labels every access panel with the date and the readings, so next year’s visit starts with real data.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Hollis location runs under The Garrison Code, which isn’t a slogan. It’s a checklist: arrive inside the quoted window, put the price in writing before any work starts, complete the job by the book, leave the site cleaner than it was found. In Fort Lauderdale, that means walking into a humid attic at 9 a.m. and not cutting corners when the heat is brutal. It means using negative-air machines from Nikro on every full duct cleaning, not just the ones where the customer is watching closely. It means a dryer vent teardown takes as long as it takes, because a rushed vent job is a lint fire waiting to happen. If the work fails within 365 days, the team comes back at no charge. No arguments. No re-quote. That’s the promise Roy signs his name to, and Danilo, Marisol, Terrence, and Luis are the reason it holds.
